Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Tartavoulle Grazing Co. Each piece we create is handcrafted, and many of our boards are made from natural wood with unique grains, knots, coloring, edges, and character. These natural variations are part of the beauty of handmade wood products and are not considered defects.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible non-custom items within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition it was received. It must also be returned in its original packaging or packaging that provides equal protection during return shipping.

All returns must be approved by Tartavoulle Grazing Co. before the item is shipped back. Please contact us first before sending any item back for return.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Because our boards can be heavy and costly to ship, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Tartavoulle Grazing Co. is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged during return shipping.

Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom, engraved, personalized, made-to-order, special request, and final sale items are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation once production has started.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Custom engraved boards
  • Personalized names, dates, logos, monograms, or messages
  • Special size requests
  • Custom handle or hardware selections
  • Made-to-order pieces
  • Sale or clearance items

Please review all spelling, names, dates, sizes, and customization details carefully before placing your order.

Proofs, Photos, and Customer Approval

Digital proofs, layout previews, and mockups are not included as a standard part of every order.

For custom engraved or personalized orders, Tartavoulle Grazing Co. may provide a digital proof, layout preview, or mockup only when we determine one is needed before production begins.

A digital proof is a computer-generated preview only. It is used to confirm spelling, wording, layout, and general design direction before the board is engraved or produced. A digital proof does not mean the design has already been added to the board, and it does not mean a finished board has been made.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all spelling, names, dates, initials, logos, monograms, wording, sizes, and personalization details before placing an order. Orders may be produced using the information submitted at checkout.

If a digital proof is provided, one reasonable revision may be requested before production begins. Additional changes may require an additional design fee.

If customer approval is required and the customer does not respond within 3 business days, production and shipping may be delayed. The order timeline will not begin, or may be paused, until the required approval is received. Wood grain, color, knots, live edges, and natural character will vary from board to board. Because each piece of wood is unique, the finished product may not look exactly like a mockup, sample photo, or previous board shown on our website or social media.

We do not offer unlimited design revisions, photo approvals, finished product photos, or multiple finished product samples for selection.

Once a digital proof is approved, or once production has started, the order cannot be changed, canceled, returned, or refunded unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error on our part.

Photos of the finished product will not be provided before shipping. Final photo approval is not part of the order process.

Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to request a change or cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help before production begins.

Once a custom or made-to-order item has entered production, it cannot be changed, canceled, returned, or refunded.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 3 days of delivery at goodfolks@tartavoullegrazingco.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the item
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A description of the issue

We must receive photos of the item and packaging in order to review a damage claim.

If we determine the item arrived damaged in shipping, defective, or incorrect due to an error on our part, Tartavoulle Grazing Co. may offer one of the following resolutions depending on the situation: repair, replacement, store credit/account credit, partial refund, or refund.

Natural Wood Disclaimer

Because every piece of wood is unique, variations in grain, color, knots, texture, live edges, small mineral marks, and natural character are expected. These are not defects and do not qualify for a return or refund.

Wood is a natural material and may continue to respond to changes in humidity, temperature, and care. Proper care instructions should be followed to help preserve the life of your board.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you have an issue with your order, please contact us and we will review it on a case-by-case basis.
